Compassionate care provider with interests in aesthetic and restorative dentistry.
Dr Raymond graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons.) and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne. He began his career in rural Victoria and has now established himself in metro Melbourne. Ray aims to provide gentle, compassionate care to all his patients, knowing the anxiety that dentistry can bring about. He hopes to work together with each patient to achieve a healthy smile and find ways to fit dentistry into their lives. Ray’s philosophy to dentistry is to help each patient find their definition of dental health and ensuring every patient knows that they will be well cared for. Ray is passionate about aesthetic, restorative and rehabilitative dentistry.
To complement his special interests, Ray has completed a postgraduate diploma in aesthetic and restorative dentistry with the Australasian College of Dental Practitioners to develop his knowledge in the rehabilitation of worn teeth and dental aesthetics. This allows Ray to help patients on their journey in dental health in the most minimally invasive way possible whilst still achieving great outcomes. He is also passionate about the evolving areas of digital dentistry and integrating new technology in every day practice. He is currently undertaking a Fellowship in Aligner Orthodontics to better integrate clear aligner treatment to give patients a non-invasive way to achieve a straighter smile.
Beyond dentistry, Ray devotes his time to his young family. He also enjoys a good book, dabbles in baking and finding the next great TV show to watch.
He is fluent in Cantonese, and can understand and speak Mandarin Chinese.
